Privacy
Your data never leaves your browser
A short, plain-English statement about what JSON FYI does and doesn't do with your data.
What runs locally
All JSON parsing, validation, linting, formatting, minification, and tree exploration happens in your browser via JavaScript. No JSON content is sent to any server.
What we store
Your most recent input is saved in localStorage on your device so it's still there when you reload the page. You can clear it any time with the Clear button or by clearing your browser storage. Theme preference is also stored locally.
Analytics
If we add analytics in the future they will be privacy-preserving (no cookies, no IP storage), aggregate only, and disclosed here.
